We had a wonderful time with our family at the cottage. We coupled our stay with our son's graduation at Acadia University and it was a perfect place for idealic family time. We used the canoe and fire pit, played cards at the kitchen table, cooked out on the barbecue and just sat and enjoyed listening to the frogs, owls and night sounds. We even saw an eagle soaring low over the lake! Ed was responsive and friendly and our interactions with him made our stay even more special.

This place was absolutely beautiful. So private, long, wide views of the lake and skies, big lawn down to the water. In fact, the photos didn’t really do it justice. It was great for swimming, canoeing, relaxing, and tubing down the river nearby. The cottage was spacious, light and comfortable, with sweeping views. This was a wonderful base for our stay, and we would definitely love to return.

Had a great time. Place was perfect. Only commnet is wifi can be iffy but house and property were perfect. Cant wait to come back.

This cabin has to be accessed by dirt road….about 8kms and is about 20 mins from Wolfville which seems a lot longer when travelling on unpaved roads. The cabin has beautiful scenery and is very quiet but it really needs some deep cleaning and some extra supplies would be great. The water used for washing/cleaning is directly from the pond but the host had supplied bottled water for cooking and drinking. The beds were not as comfortable as we had hoped and overall, we were disappointed because the reviews given were so good? Our host had a welcome tray for us when we arrived which was very thoughtful and was greatly appreciated.
