This Airbnb was ok, but for the price I felt it wasn’t really worth it. It’s a pretty big space, nice kitchen and patio. However, there were some issues immediately upon checkin. First, there was no WiFi initially as it turned out the router was unplugged and we had to spend some time figuring that out. The remote for the TV was under the couch and there were some parental locks on the TV too which was odd. The real issue though was with the AC on the first day we arrived. The thermostat measured 75 and kept rising even though the AC was set to 70 cool. All of the rooms in the house did not cool evenly which made it quite uncomfortable. We had specifically asked about the AC before the trip as we saw it mentioned in a previous review. We were assured it would work fine, but if that’s normal operation, that’s not going to work for most people. The hosts did provide us a portable unit to help out and everyone did eventually end up getting comfortable. There were also other small issues that made the stay less than great. The sealing on the toilets was either old or done improperly so they rock if you put weight on them. It’s not a huge deal, but makes the place feel more run down than it should. There is in unit laundry, but there were no laundry supplies. There were also no extra trash bags. The trash can was really small for an Airbnb of this size and it filled quickly. It would’ve been nice to be able to change it ourselves. Generally, there was a lack of attention to detail with this Airbnb. It met the basic requirements, but didn’t exceed expectations or provide a lot of the amenities that most Airbnbs I’ve stayed in have available. That would be fine, except that at the price, they really should provide more.
