This was a great weekend trip and worth the price. We caught fish, kayaked, and relaxed by the fire. The property is definitely worn in. Burn holes. Stains on the carpet. Old Empty bottles around and expired seasonings from previous guests that had a smell. All the appliances and floors were very dirty. We brought our own coffee maker thankfully. There was an odd smell that had to be aired out/ we used incense to help mask it because the smell kept returning. Not all the windows open and not all of them have screens. We had to do a deep clean upon arrival. I’m not trying to be negative about the place, it’s a beautiful piece of property, but keep these things in mind when booking especially when bringing along the kids. We personally didn’t mind the cleanliness issue because we planned ahead and brought cleaning products and did it ourself before we unpacked. We moved on and had so much fun. We would stay here again because the location is beautiful and private.

Place was a great spot on the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing. My kids and dog loved it. Exactly what you’d expect a cabin on a lake in Maine to be. Company was responsive and willing to resolve an issue that came up on our first night, no other issues during our month stay. Thank you, Vacasa Maine!

I usually font leave bad reviews but this was a horrible experience for my co workers and myself. The home smelled badly of sewage and the toilet didn't work. I was assured multiple times that someone would come to work on it and fix the issue but in our almost full week stay no one ever showed up. Basically out 1200$.

The lake was beautiful. The view from the master bedroom was nice and had a sliding glass door to open and hear the night/lake sounds. We had fun with the kayaks and fire pit. The inside was bare bones. Not sure what all was around the area as we drove to the coastal towns each day.
