Raven Cottage is lovely, exactly as shown in the photos, with all the comforts of home that you may require, and a beautiful garden area. It is within a five minute walk to the main town of Colchester, and the well-kept park and castle are just behind the cottage. Tracey was always responsive and friendly with communication, replying promptly. Tracey was due to meet with us for check-in, but we were stuck in traffic, so she kindly allowed us to self check in with the lockbox, which worked out great for us as we got further delayed and were concerned about keeping to the time scale to meet Tracey. Car parking is on street, and Tracey kindly activated an online parking permit for the duration of our stay. It does get busy on the street, so parking can be a bit tight at times. Raven Cottage is lovely, beautifully furnished with lots of nice touches making it very homely. The welcome basket of treats and a pint of milk were greatly appreciated after our long journey. What a beautiful cottage, I can honestly say this is the most well thought out air bnb I have stayed to at date, every detail had been thought of to make the stay that much much comfortable. Pristinely decorated throughout and comfortable. Tracey was super helpful through the stay and making sure everything was right for the guest. Great location if you are considering exploring historic Colchester.

Booked this stay with short notice and Tracey did not disappoint. Super helpful and responsive in communication and welcomed us to a home that was spotless and beautiful. Definitely recommended and will be a consideration the next time we book in Colchester!

Tracey’s cottage is a little piece of paradise! Tracey met us at check in and answered any questions, she kept great communication from check in until check out. The cottage is a lovely space, bigger than it looks in the pictures. Bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen, bathroom and living areas were well supplied. A short walk to the castle and all the restaurants, historical areas and shopping downtown. Would absolutely stay there again!
