House was ok. Amenities were very very basic. Wouldn’t be enough seating for 12 people. Dishwasher not washing properly. We had to handwash utensils before using.. Beds comfy. Nice and warm and lots of hot water. Nice walk to two lovely pubs. Easy to find.

Property was booked for a family weekend stay, and sadly we were extremely disappointed with the property. Whilst the property is in a lovely location, there is significant attention to detail that makes for an underwhelming stay. The hob didn’t work, we were told to use a lighter, but we didn’t have one. Only 4 forks for a property to accommodate 12 people. Not enough crockery, mugs or cooking equipment. No oven gloves and only 1 tea towel provided. Dishwasher items came out feeling scummy, fridge not clean (noticeable food debris in drawer). Charged additional amount of a pet, not made clear in original listing. Upstairs bathroom sink had no cold water, shower head didn’t stay up when showering, hot bath tap too hot it is unsafe. Beard hair trimmings on sink. Not enough seating in the living room, barely enough seating for 8 adults. Had to bring in chairs from the freezing cold conservatory to sit around table. Litter from previous guests left. Will not be returning/recommending.

We booked this house for a girls weekend in Cambridge. The house is in a peaceful location and is spacious, but overall we had a disappointing stay and did not feel we had value for money paid. The main issue we experienced was the upstairs bathroom tap not running any cold water at all - for 8 girls this was a real issue and we needed the run the bath to wash our faces. The hob also did not work and when we called to find out how we fix this, we were advised to use a lighter. The lighter provided did not work, so were told to 'find a lighter ourselves'. We were unable to do any cooking all weekend as a result. There is a camera in the hallway which felt like a huge invasion of privacy. The property is difficult to locate from the postcode so we had several upset uber drivers who asked us to get out and walk to locate the property. When I contacted the management property about the above issues we were not helped. Overall disappointing stay and would not recommend.

Easy to drive to Cambridge and nice surrounding area. The train station is nearby. The property is good for 2 to 3 family friends travel together with lots of bedrooms and big living space.
