Great location close to town centre but really quiet street with a lovely little local pub . Had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again

Thank you for a super stay. Just as described. We didn’t need a car for our mini break as the train station is really close and the river walk into town is at the end of the road. A homely property and historic town that are definitely worth visiting. I can recommend.

Sarah has been really helpful from the point of booking and post departure. All descriptions were accurate. Location was great, easy to walk in to town via river path or foot bridge. Parking was fine, but could be an issue for some. The house was clean to a good standard, but there may be a couple of areas of improvement and may be due to previous guests vs our hosts cleaning schedule. On entry, the kitchen smelt a little, this could be simply due to the doors and windows being closed. We had to wash several items in the kitchen as they were visually not clean. Eg. Wine glasses, mugs and plates. (I’d assume this was due to other guests). Kitchen was well stocked for dishwasher usage and all cleaning products provided. Bathroom was also well stocked, though similar to the kitchen, felt a bit stuffy and needing airing. Air fresheners may solve these issues. Beds were definitely too soft and pillows and duvets could do with an upgrade. Still a good stay and host. Thanks Sarah.
