This house is literally less than 2 miles from Newport which made getting into town very easy. I had my dog with us and we went to the beach and the Cliff Walk for our exercise. The house was spotless and very nice. If it was warmer we would have taken advantage of the fire pit. Luke was very helpful in trying to figure out the heating. Great host, great house.

My friends and I went to visit our old Alma Mater for a short trip and this place provided a wonderful place that felt like home to us. Great location, good price and just good vibes :).

Pros: -The location was great. Right down the street from an excellent coffee shop, Custom House Coffee. -Nice neighborhood to walk through. -Comfortable beds and bedding. -Ample parking. Cons: -We initially could not figure out how to turn on the heater. When we contacted the host she said that she wouldn’t be able to get a person until the following day. It was very cold out, but we eventually managed to figure out turning it on. -There is a lot of wear on this house. The painting, the floors. Everything in the kitchen is a mishmash of items. -Stairs are somewhat steep. Suggestions: I’d also suggest more places to “set” things. For example, in the bathroom there is a large corner. It’d be great if there was a small table people could set toiletries on. This is also similar for the closets. There’s not really anything to set your belongings on. Maybe a small drawer set would do. It would also be nice if they had mirrors in the upstairs bedrooms.
