We had such a relaxing and lovely stay here! A very pretty tucked-away spot on the river, with so much wildlife around it, but close enough to lots of local wineries. The house was spotless, cosy and thoughtfully decorated. Udo and Barbara were so welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home - even leaving dairy-free milk and butter just for us, which was so kind. We loved having peaceful breakfasts on the balcony with the beautiful view, and seeing pademelons and rabbits in the garden. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Moon River Chalet. Udo and Barbara made us feel very welcome and left lovely local produce for us. The chalet was light and airy, very comfortable with a beautiful view across the river. Such a special place full of peace and serenity.

Udo &Barbara are wonderful hosts and were very welcoming to their beautiful chalet on the shore of the West Tamar. River. The view from their very comfortable chalet was spectacular and it was so lovely to be able to relax on the deck and watch the birds and the local wildlife that live in and around their garden. In the short time we were there we saw Grey Fantail, Finches, Egret, New Holland Honeyeaters, Masked Lapwing and a Grey Goshawk plus pademelon and two bandicoots! Very special and memorable stay.

We had the most relaxing time at Udo & Barbara’s accommodation. Probably visit again in the future, loved this place.
