Communication with Bachcare was non existent. We sent half a dozen messages, no reply. We asked several times for the king bed to be split, they agreed and then when we arrived, the beds weren’t split - it was still a king bed. There is basically no heating in the house. So prepare to freeze. There was no bin bags, no toilet paper etc. The house is nice, but everything else about the experience wasn’t. Also, all the pillows in house are SHOCKING, I highly recommend bringing your own. This may be an opinion of our group, but we all agreed the pillows need an upgrade. We do appreciate the early checkin, but this doesn’t compensate for everything else. If you are the owner of this property, find another property manager.

This is a fantastic apartment in a great location. However, check in and communication were well below expectations. We messaged the host our expected arrival time, and for them to inform us of the check in method. Three further follow up messages, and no response. Building reception was closed and when we got through to them on the phone, they informed us to just contact our host. After an hour of standing in sub-zero temperatures, we finally managed to get through to a very friendly lady working for Bachcare called Ingrid, who was not the one responsible for this property, but she was able to get us checked in. When we eventually got inside, the place was freezing and felt like it had not been inhabited for quite some time, so we spent the evening wearing our ski gear to try and warm up, using all available electric heaters to try and heat the place up. When we went to choose our rooms, one of the bedroom door handles locked itself behind us as we closed the door, despite us not locking it. We didn't have the patience for this kind of mishap at this hour, and thankfully helpful Ingrid was at hand to come in person and take apart the lock. This property was not her responsibility, but she still showed up. She managed to get the door open, but could not fix the lock and could not get a hold of a locksmith at such an hour. The bedroom door remained ajar for the remainder of our stay, as no locksmith could be sourced. In conclusion, lovely apartment, views, and amenities but woeful check in experience and communication.

There was a power failure at the flat while we were there leaving us 24 hours without power or heating. The apartment manager was as helpful as could be with great communication. However the issue was a fault with the main apartment fuse box in the complex. No-one knew where the fuse box was. Despite how helpful everyone was, I would expect Bachcare to know the location of the power board. However they were very helpful in the situation of a rare fault occurring.
