Good and quite place. Bit expensive but liked the location. Few house essentials which we expected were not there for ex - no aluminium foil, cooking oil, paper towels. As we visited with our parents who likes home cooked food we brought our toaster which was there but not listed in details. I think giving details on what property has and what we should bring along will help future guests better prepared for the stay. Its small cozy place and there are no deliveries to Sandy Point. Overall a nice and quite place.

Sandy Star is a lovely home well equipped to cater for large groups. 4 spacious bedrooms allowed each couple to some personal space. We were excited about our family weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday. Unfortunately for us we stayed on the long weekend during a heatwave with temperatures in the high 30's each day. We arrived to find that only one of the two split systems were working and this was located in the kitchen. The remainder of the house was unbearably hot. We were grateful that on Saturday someone from PCH came to look at the airconditioning. Unfortunately, a small holiday town has limited backup when things dont go to plan consequently no tradie to fix aircon. PCH manage the property and i felt an apology, a couple of fans or portable cooler might have helped. We had a young baby with us and there are no restaurants, shops or cafes to escape the heat. A young baby can only be on the beach for so long. Subsequently, it wasnt the stay that we hope for.

Great beach holiday house. Lots of space for two families and the house had everything we needed. Will book again!
