We really dislike doing bad reviews but unfortunately we just want tell it as it is so future customers know what they’re getting themselves in for. Yes the location is good and yes it is described as being an old family beach house… but you pay $316 per night for the following…. The bathroom is an old laundry tub and a tiny shower. The curtains don’t cover the windows and a lot of them are plastic? This is a bit awkward as it’s quite the thoroughfare for walkers! The windows are very dirty. The sliding screen door constantly falls off. The outside yard/garden is terribly unkept with what seems zero effort to make it look nice. If this place was $150 a night we would understand but for this money it is just not up to scratch. Unfortunately we booked last minute, on the day, and in a hurry so our bad. We could have stayed in some stunning places for $632!! I’m just confused with the previous reviews and prefer to give people a ‘heads up’ if they are thinking of booking this property.

The home is almost as described. It is not fancy but has the lovely atmosphere of a family beach house. The location is wonderful. Everything was clean and tidy. Our only complaint is that the dog fence had a hole in it and both our dogs escaped early on (so we then had to have them on lead each time they went outside). We did report it to the agent at the end of our visit and were reassured that the hole would be quickly fixed by the owner. Apart from that, we very much enjoyed our stay.
