They thought of everything! The coffee station alone is worth 5 stars; we appreciated the nespresso and the drip coffee maker. Comfortable space with a decent-sized fenced in yard, closest grocery store is only a 3 minute drive, and only 15 minutes into Asheville. House is fully stocked for cooking. Extra blankets stored in the sleeper sofa kept us comfy, and the vacuum was easy to find (a must when traveling with pets!!) The host also had clear instructions for everything and great recommendations for the area. As listed in the description, the house is off a fairly busy road- as in, the house literally faces the road. If you're someone who likes to walk your dog, you'll have to drive them somewhere to walk: the road has no shoulder, so you literally can't walk along it. Ta said we made good use of the yard.

Home is immaculate, well appointed kitchen, hand soaps and lotions were lovely. Beds are super comfy. Enjoyed the hot tub! Home is located on a busy road, cars can be heard from hot tub. Thought house was situated with more land surrounding, but it did feel private. Overall this home is lovely, there is fantastic communication in the welcome manual, and I would stay again!

Great place!!! My husband and I stayed a week at David’s cottage to relax and be close to Asheville and hiking trails in the area. It was perfect in every way and we felt right at home. It was clean, tidy, and felt very welcoming to us. The description David provided was very accurate. The kitchen had everything we needed and included extras like coffee and a variety of spices for cooking. The bathroom had plenty of towels, soaps, shampoo, etc. We used one bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. David has printed clear instructions out for a variety of things which was very helpful and appreciated. He also provides a nice guest manual with local recommendations. The hot tub was wonderful! In warmer weather it would be wonderful to sit in the Adirondack chairs by the stream out back or out on the fully furnished deck….we’ll save that for another trip. We plan on returning and will definitely be staying here again. Thank you David!
