Sabrina's place is great to stay at for a family vacation. I preferred it over a hotel as it comes with all the amenities of a house. It is just far enough from the main city to be away from the busyness but a fairly quick drive to gain access to the city if you wanted. The beach is a five minute walk, and Sabrina provided a wagon to cart the umbrella, chairs, boggy boards and other toys to the beach. The house is spacious and well maintained. It is a bit pricy, but still worth the stay.

A lovely house in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Just a quick trot to the beach. The house was clean and spacious with amenities like a/c, wireless internet, and even Netflix! Sabrina is very communicative and helpful.

The house is a great family home. If you want to have a relaxing trip away from the busy of Waikiki or Kailua and not pack up your kid into a car seat every time you want to go to the beach, then I recommend staying here. The house was open, roomy, with a great backyard, and from the driveway you can see the beach. Waimanalo beach was exceptional not crowded and our little one loved it. Clean, safe neighborhood. We considered staying in Kailua, but when we went there for dinner one night I was so relieved to be staying at Sabrina's place to the point where we ditched our dinner plans and got take out and went back to the house. It is quiet, neighbors smile at you on your walk to the beach and you have everything you need at the house. I can't stress enough the benefit of having the wagon with the beach toys/boogie board/umbrella/chairs, it was so convenient. You do receive a list of the house rules which can be scary and overwhelming especially with small unpredictable kids, but with strict rules comes an immaculate home which is very well taken care of and the rules weren't unreasonable. Loved it!!!

The listing was very accurate. Host had great communication with us the whole time. In the rare case we needed something she was right on it. Location, Location, location...If you haven't discovered Waimanalo Beach you're missing out! Almost totally private everyday. Perfect waves for kids, great soft sand and the views!!! After owning property on the north shore for years, I believe Waimanalo is the perfect location on Oahu. You'll forget your on the most populated Hawaiian Island very quickly. But when you need something (Costco, nightly entertainment, etc.) you're only 10-20 minutes away. Location was perfect, kitchen and family area was outstanding. Plenty of room for our family of 6 (kids 17, 15, 12 & 10) to run around/spread out. The AC units were a great touch. It wasn't extremely warm but a few days we needed to cool the house, they did it very quickly. But I loved the glass blinds that created a great open air feel, tons of birds in the morning to wake up to & the sounds of waves crashing at night. Yard was big and private, great to throw the football, soccer ball, etc around. Outdoor shower was a good touch (I personally used the hose more because kids were always in the shower). Its cold but feels good and your sun touched skin. The kitchen is stocked well with dishes. However you'll need to purchase some spices (other then salt & pepper) but no big deal. Appliances worked great (no hand washing needed!) Beach toys (2 real boogie boards, beach umbrella, sand castle toys, 4 folding beach chairs & an awesome 4 wheel/folding beach cart!) worked great. Especially the day at Hanauma Bay. To wheel everything instead of carrying it was awesome. Great outdoor grill and seating area. Book with confidence...

We've had a great stay and love this place! Location is perfect (at the beach), the host is very communicative and easy-going, and the house is awesome (very clean, spacious and comfortable). Highly recommended!
