Built in 1916, our home is located on one of the oldest residential streets, sitting high on a cliff with unobstructed water views of Manette and Sinclair Inlet. "Suite on the Sound" is on the lower floor of our home. Watch the ferries sail to Seattle. You might see an aircraft carrier or submarine! Walking distance to downtown theaters, shops, restaurants, ferries, and community parks. Stroll over the Manette Bridge for more shops and 5* restaurants. Adults only. Not ADA accessible. The suite is approximately 1000 sq. ft. It has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, futon in the living/dining area, renovated kitchen that is fully stocked, and bath (shower only). We live upstairs with our dog Stanley, and cat, Lucy. Stanley only barks when someone comes to the door (he's a great watchdog!) Stanley will not go onto the patio or lower yard while guests are here. The patio is yours, alone, to enjoy. There is only one allocated parking space on the street. There is a parking garage 2 blocks away, for a fee, if additional parking is needed. The suite is not suitable for children. The suite is not ADA accessible. Our pipes are old. There is no garbage disposal in the kitchen. IMPORTANT! Liquids only down the sink. Scrape food off all eating and cooking utensils and place in the trash before setting them in the dishwasher.
