Sweet, self-contained studio on our tranquil 5 acre rural coastal property just 1km from stunning Uretiti Beach loved by four wheel drive enthusiasts, horse riders, surfers, hikers and fishermen alike. Close to Waipu township (3.5km) with well equipped Four Square, cafes, and the famous McLeods Brewery and pizza barn. The space is a fully self-contained guesthouse separate but close to the main dwelling on the property (where we live), and close to the barn and stables. The outlook is private - away from the main dwelling and barn. It is situated up a long drive well away from the road. The guesthouse has a spacious queen bedroom, small kitchen (with mini oven/microwave/airfryer and electric cooktop), bathroom, dining area and lounge. The lounge opens on to a small patio which has a rural outlook. The guesthouse is ideal for two, but we can add a single camp stretcher bed in the living room with bedding, by arrangement. There are a few animals on the property including a friendly jack russell terrier and three horses.

It was fantastic. Chelsea and Reade were great and gracious hosts.Very communicative at every step. Their wonderful place is surrounded by the beauty of nature and horses and it gives you a feeling that you have been fortunate to find such a place .The cabin is well equipped has great amenities and very spacious . If I needed anything they were very helpful and responsive. Thank you for a wonderful time .

Chelsea's place is spacious. Bathroom has lots of room. Cold water in the fridge was wonderful when we arrived as it had been a very warm day. Reade offered us an extention cord to charge our car. Enjoyed getting outside to look at the stars. Chelsea was cheerful. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place, Chelsea was always responsive and friendly. The location was perfect for what we needed (we were connecting with friends in the nearby campground, and it was just a quick drive). Also, there is easy access to the beach just down the road. The apartment was comfortable and clean. Previous reviews mentioned road noise. That wasn't an issue for us - it seemed very quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

We are just a few hundred metres off the Te Araroa trail and a great stop for hikers walking the trail.
Getting around is best if you have a car and are self driving.
It is about 3.5km into town from our house on rural roads (no footpath till close to town) which are the closest shops. If you are not self driving (such as trail walkers) it would be best to bring all your supplies with you :)
