Great place to stay with our adult children and our parents. It’s a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. We enjoyed the walking area around the waterway and meet some very nice neighbors. The elevator was a hit with our parents that sometimes struggle with stairs. Plenty of room for our family in the common areas but also room on each floor for privacy. The views from the front and back balconies were amazing. We enjoyed our first stay in Manteo.

Andy's place was fantastic! The balconies were great for watching the evening lightening storms out in the distance. Plenty of room for everyone as well. The pool was nice to have right there for our younger two to swim anytime, especially while the big boys were fishing off the dock. Great space for fishing---Especially at night! We recommend Fishing Unlimited for bait! Super nice folks there and reasonably priced. Even though the house is in Manteo, it's only a short drive to the beach public access, and larger grocery stores. I mention this as I was a little worried about booking in Manteo away from the "main drag" in OBX---- Do not let this deter you at all! Lovely home and an easy, short, less than 10 minute drive to town. Andy has provided many beach towels, as well as everything you could ask for when planning a day trip to the beach! Chairs, sand castle supplies, boogie boards, and even a beach wagon! Andy was very responsive and we could not have asked for a better host.
