I was visiting family in the area, and because I have poor mobility I didn't aim to be doing much walking. Ruth's property is excellent for 4 people to stay in, there are few property's that have two double bedrooms which both have un-suite's. All in all its a lovely property to stay in and Ruth is an excellent host.

Ruth and Michael are fantastic hosts. Communication was clear, quick and hosts answered any questions before and during our stay, including recommendations for local businesses. From beginning to end they made our stay a wonderful one. Great location to discover New Mills and the Peak District. Walks (public footpaths) available directly from the apartment, a nearby leisure centre offers access to a swimming pool, and there are shops and lovely restaurants around in easy walking distance. Looking forward to returning!

We had such a lovely time staying here. A beautiful, bright, spacious apartment. Central for visiting the beautiful Peaks. Lots of information provided for local restaurants / pubs etc. Ruth also very generously left some lovely goodies for our breakfasts, including cereal, bread, milk, orange juice and wine. Accommodation was easy to find and driveway parking was great. We would definitely stay here again :)

A short weekend break made all the more special staying in this wonderful apartment. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Their warm and accommodating nature truly made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. It's rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and it truly set the tone for our entire trip. The apartment is a home from home with care taken to ensure that everything you'd need is a accommodated for. We received a very warm welcome and a sumptuous welcome pack second to none. The rooms were warm cosy and brilliantly appointed. We couldn't have asked for more. Overall, our stay at this apartment exceeded all expectations. The combination of exceptional hospitality, thoughtful amenities, and cosy accommodations made for an unforgettable weekend getaway. We couldn't have asked for more, and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a truly special Airbnb experience.
