We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Lane Ends cottage. Lucy , the host, was absolutely marvellous and did everything to accommodate us. We were there to celebrate a big family birthday and she even got a big balloon to welcome us. The cottage is absolutely spotless and has everything you could possibly want. On one day we had a big celebration dinner and were joined by other family members, the lovely big dining room accommodated us all and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds are the comfiest I’ve stayed in. It was great to be able to see the Cage from Lyme Park from my bedroom and the walk down to Disley only took us 10 minutes. The kids also loved it and had endless games of hide and seek both inside and outside the property. We will definitely be back.

What to say about this location.. what a lovely house, everything was clean, tidy, fresh.. great accommodation, nothing to fault. The host Lucy was second to non, informative, helpful, responsive, just what you need when going away. It is a little walk into the village but easily manageable and the kids loved the wonder and scenery (lots of pictures). we would recommend staying here, and we will stay here in the future too. Thank you Lucy!

The cottage was lovey, we had a lovely time with our children and the host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Beautiful location.

A fantastic few days in Lucy’s lovely home. It was absolutely sparkling clean and had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and cosy and in a great location. Could not have been better.

Beautiful cottage and so lovely to have it decorated for Christmas. Really cosy and Lucy has thought of everything- from all the equipment you could need in the kitchen to plugs and lamps by the bed, full length mirrors, plenty of storage for clothes- the list goes on-we really didn’t find anything missing. Spotlessly clean and tidy and the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in away from home. The fizz and chocolates and the basket of dog towels, bowls and balls was a nice touch too. We enjoyed a lovely Boxing Day walk in Lyme Park- easily accessible on foot. We will definitely be back.
