The Keeper's Apartment was warm, inviting, and a great launching point to explore the beautiful grounds. The Light House, crashing waves on all sides, and beach walks were a highlights. We've already recommended this location to friends!
This place is beautiful. It was raining and windy when we arrived, but everything we had kept us warm and dry. The memory foam mattress and heaters were a plus. Slept so good hearing the waves and gusts of wind. The gas fireplace had a mind of its own and, unfortunately, not very reliable. It would turn on and off randomly even when the heat was turned up beyond the ambient temperature in the room. Other than that, we had a great time, and all of the amenities allow you to just relax and unplug. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely stunning location and view once the fog lifted. The chilly surroundings were just the respite we needed from 115 degrees in Phoenix. wonderful and well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommend!

I honestly don’t think it’d be possible to improve a single thing about this place, it’s perfect. The space is so warm and inviting, and honestly perfect. And the setting, good heavens, stunning. The crashing waves of the ocean are so close on both sides of the apartment, but the apartment is so quiet you can almost forget where you are. Great location for striking out and exploring many of the quaint little towns of the California coast. Loved every second. Thanks again you guys!!

We are a non-profit organization that owns and manages the iconic and historic Point Arena Light Station #496. It features the tallest lighthouse on the West Coast at 115 feet, it also offers an indoor museum, Whale Watch room, Light Station Store, 23 acre outdoor museum and 7 unique vacation cottages that can accommodate from 2 up to 6 people, depending on the cottage. Come stay in comfortable cottages surrounded on 3 sides by the Pacific Ocean. We love tourists, families, couples seeking that perfect romantic weekend, large groups that want to vacation together, and people who just want to get away to a wild, private, spectacularly beautiful piece of the North Coast of California and get the unique experience of staying at a working yet historic lighthouse.
