Absolutely perfect country retreat. We could not have found a more perfect place to stay. It is a slice of heaven, and Anna is so thoughtful with the little touches around the house. It is the best place I have ever stayed and encourage anyone looking for a country retreat to book - you won't regret it!

This was a super cute property with close amenities. There is a Super Tesco 10 minutes down the road if you can’t find what you need from the co-op a stones throw away. The Chippy down the road had tasty Fish and Chips, but I would stick to the fish and Chips, they are cash only. We walked to the farm to get eggs and milk for breakfast, it was worth the 5 minute walk. They take cards for the milk cheese and other items but cash only for the eggs. The cottage was a nice quiet place to play board games with the kids and fix dinner in the evening after our excursions. We visited the Jurassic coast (just over an hour) Salisbury Cathedral (35 minutes) Stonehenge (just up the road from the cathedral, or 45-50 minutes from the cottage) Frome (20 minutes) and Bath (about an hour) in our short stay there. I would stay here again. The shower was great beds were clean, could have used a topper, but the cleanest linens I have ever seen. It was always warm and toasty in the cottage. We loved it!
