Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Lodging for 17 people on small ranch in in two houses on 12 acres in rolling hill on Fitzhugh Road. Amenities include large private pool, outdoor dining under lights, goats and chickens. Near many wedding venues, distilleries, and breweries. Just 25 minutes from downtown Austin yet peaceful private county setting. The ranch house has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each and then up in the loft there are three single beds two of which have trundles so five can sleep in the loft. In the guest house we have a bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom that has a twin over a full bunk bed. There is also a day bed in the guest house in the common space ( living room).

We hosted a bachelorette at Thistle Rock Ranch and it was perfect! The homes were clean, comfortable, and was exactly what we were needing to host our guests!
We had my bachelorette trip at thistle rock ranch and it was absolutely a dream! The owners were so kind and helpful! They respond quickly and truly try to make your experience the best! The property and houses were beautiful and very clean. My group of 16 were able to sleep comfortably at the ranch and guest house. My girls loved hanging with the animals on the property. Overall, it was everything I wanted and I would 100% go back! Highly recommend!
We loved our weekend Bachelorette stay here!! Hosts were very friendly, responsive, and go above and beyond! the houses / property are absolutely beautiful! Would definitely stay again!!

Had many family members come to the area for a wedding. Great location for a big group. Lovely pool to hang out in.

Fitzhugh Road surrounded by ranches, wedding venues, breweries, distilleries, wineries and nearby state parks Pedernales Falls, Reimers Ranch, etc.
Best to have your own car but ride sharing services come out all the time and are accessible. For group transportation we recommend Fetii, which specializes in group events, weddings, bachelor and bachelorette gatherings.

I am a 56 year old, married to Bruce, my wonderful husband and Airbnb side kick partner. With 4 kids grown and gone we decided we needed some new kids so we moved to a farm in TX and now have six Nigerian Dwarf goats and dozens of chickens which we love to share with others!
