Aileen and Paul’s place is very clean and in great condition. The area is beautiful and the porch is nice. The WiFi is not useful although they tried to reboot it but still we couldn’t watch Netflix. The bed is super comfortable.

It was a great stay but a couple of minor issues to note: - couldn’t figure out how to work the electric hob, or it wasn’t working, it would just say “Lo” on the display but couldn’t get heating no matter what we tried - wifi stopped working and since the internet was poor, couldn’t contact Paul to sort out the hob issue lol We visited the waterfall nearby and did the Cornish hill walk, then went to Ayr for food, overall good stay.

stunning place! great for a peaceful getaway! amazing view of the woods from the cabin. It was great listening to the wildlife and watching the deer go past! lovely hosts , would definitely return.

Amazing lodge - the personalised touches were simply well presented and beautiful to arrive to - nothing was too much hassle when I forgot a personal item - and it was an absolute beautiful stay from start to finish - the bed was super comfy and everything we needed and more was at hand - we will definitely be back again in the future - thanks so much for sharing your lodge with us.

Lovely little lodge located out of the way, and cosy. Great bed and shower, unfortunately weather did not permit us to sit out on the veranda with the cute wood-burning stove. Quick drive to Ayr where there were plenty of great options for food and places to enjoy the seafront. Paul and Aileen were very responsive hosts on top of providing a great place to say. They were also flexible for our extremely last minute trip at a busy time of year, and had plenty of suggestions for food and activities.
