We stayed at the Joey Cabin for my 37th birthday and to view the eclipse that was passing over the area. The cabin was awesome. Gloria was such an amazing host. Friendly, gracious, and easy to chat with. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to relax and enjoy nature, I would highly recommend the Joey Cabin.

The wife and I were looking for something that was pet friendly, which is very important to us. They can't fly, and 3 hours is the limit for riding in a car. This looked nice and was right at 3 hours. We were in contact with Gloria earlier in the day and knew exactly what to do to check in. We have rented cabins previously a couple of times, but Gloria was the best host by far. She wasn't waiting at the front door for us to arrive and then have to walk around her and in our hair when we're trying to unpack, which was greatly appreciated!! Gloria is obviously not new at this. She gave us just enough time to unpack and settle in. Shortly afterward, she arrived with a big stack of towels and even a larger smile. She gave us all the information that we needed and that she lived across the road from the entrance. We stayed at the Joey cabin for 14 days. Gloria was the sweetest host and an all-around class act. We will definitely return. Thank you, Jeff and Shelly Johnson.
