We had a wonderful stay. We met up family we hadn't seen in many years and the place at the base of Hawk Mountain is beautiful, secluded, and peaceful. We have young children, so the bunk bed room with toys was a huge hit with our daughter. Timely reminder messages were sent to me about check in and check out procedures which was helpful. The little labels about thermostats and how to use light switches etc. were also very helpful. Hoping to visit again.

We loved our stay at Hidden River Cabin. The house is beautiful, there was plenty of places for everyone to sleep, and the tire swing outside was a hit for the kids. Just a quick walk across the road to see the river which we loved. And sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the sounds of nature was a highlight. The house is bigger than we anticipated and we loved every second being there. Thank you for hosting us! We hope to be back soon.

Great place-- everything was well-labeled. Some minor parts of the house were a little dated or janky, but like I said, everything was well-labeled such that it was very easy to work around any jankyness. The washer, however, didn't seem to want to start, even when I followed the directions. It took some fiddling, but finally got it running. Maybe I was doing something wrong. It looked like a newer washer and dryer. OH, and I had a technical question about their TV before we left and the hosts went out of their way to thoroughly (and politely!) answer it.

Pictures don't do it justice. This house is incredible, the surroundings even better. We knew we wanted to stay here for our work trip, gave us a good place to come back and relax. Looking at the photos we knew it would be a cool place to stay but when we walked in it was more than expected. The old mountain home vibes are perfect! I would 100% come back and stay again, especially on a weekend where there hadn't been so much rain the week prior, as I would love to fish the river. Plenty to do from darts to poker and exploring the area around. My one and only gripe, there's a cleaning fee involved in your booking but we were expected to wash, dry and fold towels before leaving. We did not wash, dry and fold towels as we showered in the morning and had an early departure but also we were paying a cleaning fee that was close to $200. Additionally, prepare to make your own bed, the beds are not made up for you, you'll be expected to put the sheets and pillowcases on the bed upon arrival.
