Great home and people and very good view overall nice experience

The location was great and the size of the house fit our family perfectly. The kitchen worked out great for family breakfasts which were the only meals at the house. Although it would have been nice to have a larger dining table. There were only four negatives about our stay. 1. Some of the dishes were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. It looked like the dishwasher didn’t do its job because there was dried up food on plates and silverware. 2. There wasn’t enough dishwasher detergent so we had to hand wash most of the time. 3. The downstairs bathtub clogged during the first use so I had to buy and use some draino before it could be used. 4. The furniture wasn’t very good and there wasn’t enough seating for eight in the living room when everyone wanted to hangout together. The beds were great. It’s the seating in the living room and patio over the garage that could be improved. That said, our family would most certainly stay there again on our next visit to Ventura.

House was welcoming and easy to enter, but lacked many things. FIRST THINGS FIRST, as we were unpacking, the neighbors on both sides were rude and threatening, complained before saying hello. The listing said it accommodated 8, but we only had 6 in party. There was NOT ENOUGH seating in living room and “dining area”. There was no hot tub as it was listed. Most furniture was uncomfortable and some were broken. There was not enough lights in the whole house. The light in one of the bedrooms was completely broken and had to move another light in there for my mom. The TV was hard to operate and there was only 1 TV in the whole house. Master bedroom fan said “operate with remote” and no remote provided. The towels were so tiny, thin and well used. For almost $500 a night, we expected much more. It wasn’t the worst stay, but we will not return. Otherwise, it is a 5 minute walk to the beach and about a 10 minute drive to restaurants and grocery stores.

House was very good for our group of 8. Would have been nicer to have another sofa / arm chair downstairs as the only living room area is on the loft (2nd floor) Home was very good and comfortable for us and great location easy parking etc. For the high price some items were not taken care of. some light bulbs out, some blinds not working great, also lack of toiletries and toilet paper / kitchen towell was a slight frustration to go to the store and get this stuff. Would go back for sure. but be prepared to bring common itmes.
