We had a great time here - a large house with everything you need. We were lucky with the snow - there was tons of it, and the kids built several snowmen in the back yard. A true winter wonderland. The price was high, but this is the busiest weekend of the year, so it is to be expected.

Would recommend in the Truckee area. Close to most ski resorts and easy to book with.

the house was average, but the host/management (Vacasa) is rude & unhelpful. I would NOT recommend or book again - they were suppose to email the check-in code the morning of. They hadn’t sent it by the afternoon and when I asked, they said they just “resent” it and I should check my junk folder next time. There was no email in my junk folder - we couldn’t check in until after the check-in time b/c the airbnb wasn’t ready. When it was supposedly ready, things weren’t clean (towels still damp, bathroom sink clogged, dirt stains in bedroom floor) - they left one 1ml shampoo bottle for 6 people staying 3 days. when I reached out for a couple more, they said 1) no, that’s all you get. If you need more, go buy it 2) we don’t come bring you anything else during your stay - house is deep in the neighborhood. steep icy parts to drive on Having an awful experience with Vacasa ruined this Airbnb. Would find other options not managed by Vacasa.

Great cosy place in Truckee! Very well maintained and high end finishes. This place was one of the best places we have stayed in Nevada County. If you're planning on staying near Northstar or just a place to get away this place will not disappoint. I have stayed in many places while visiting the tahoe area for various events and vacation and this one was a good find. The area was great and very quiet. I hope to stay again in the future.

Great house with awesome amenities. Perfect for hosting a large group of people. Had everything that you would want for a weekend away. There were no clear instructions with the house - like an instruction binder in the house or on airbnb with the wifi passwords or checkin/checkout information but management was quick to respond with any questions we had.
