Overall, we had a good experience. The private backyard was awesome for the kids to play in the snow. We caught the big storm over Easter weekend, and it was magical! The photos give a great representation of the cabin. Everything was very clean on the surface; however, there was quite a bit of dust underneath the beds and in the nooks and crannies of the bedroom furniture. The floors could have also been cleaner, but they probably just do a quick sweep or vacuum between tenants. The location and backyard are excellent!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin fit our group of four comfortably and the fully fenced backyard was a huge plus kids and pets. Plus, the location is unbeatable (close to the Village and lake). A few things I wished were better: the thermostat kept resetting to 55 degrees overnight despite manually changing it multiple times. The toiletries provided were minimal (we had one small tube of shampoo, conditioner, and a small bar of soap for four people for the entire weekend). And as others have noted, having to drive your trash to a dump site wasn’t ideal, especially while on vacation. Despite these issues, we would still recommend this place to other guests.

Check in instructions were unclear. The host did not provide a check in code before our check in time. An hour after check in time, I called. There was some confusion on their end. First they said the code was in email, then told me I missed a request for an ID, then put me on hold after realizing none of those things were correct. It’s a little frustrating to be in route to a home that you won’t have access to when it’s dark and cold. For check out you will have to hand wash, dry and put away all dishes. There is no dishwasher. Not an ideal way to spend vacation. You must also pack up all the trash and drive it to another location at check out. If you don’t have time or don’t want trash in your car, they can do it for you for an extra $50. It seems that should be included in the cleaning fee we paid.

Great place to stay for a quick weekend getaway. Had everything we wanted and it was so quiet and peaceful!

Cabin was great! We really enjoyed the fully enclosed backyard for our toddlers and dog.
