We stayed overnight prior to my master's defense at Longwood and I wish it could have been for several nights! The house is gorgeous, on a gorgeous piece of land. Comfy bed, a soaking bathtub, peace and quiet before my big day. Delightful!

Beautifully appointed room in a quiet home. Was good for a peaceful night’s rest in beautiful countryside. Breakfast items are provided, which is nice but it’s not much variety so you get what’s there. Anna Carol is friendly and good at responding to messages in the app. A tad expensive for a private room in somone’s home versus or a fully private space but I think that’s just AirBnb prices these days.

My husband and I needed a place to stay to visit our baby girl at Longwood University. All the hotels were sold out. We had forgotten to reserve something weeks prior. I jumped on ABB to see if there was a nice place near campus. I found Anna Carol! Luckily, she had a room for the dates we needed. We were greeted warmly by Anna Carol as we came in the front door. She gave us a tour of the house (just lovely) and offered some freshly made bread (yum, she was just finishing up lunch time). Our room was lovely and very cozy. The bathroom was super clean, as was the whole house. The next day we had a full morning planned with our daughter. We came back to Anna Carol's to play some family games. Anna Carol is the perfect hostess! Our family loved our stay. I highly recommend Anna Carol's home for your next trip.

The room was surprisingly spacious and very quiet. My wife and I needed a place to stay before an ultra run in Cumberland nearby. We wanted a cozy place to crash and the room we had was perfect for that. The bed was very comfortable and Anna Carol was a welcoming and helpful host. It would make a good place to stay for a longer visit and we would book here again.

As we were a first time user of Airbnb Anna was a God send. She did everything to ensure a great experience and allowed us to focus and relax for our daughters graduation from Longwood. Anna is one unbelievable host. We really felt we were staying at a relatives house. The property is so well landscaped and the front porch was a bonus. We sat out early in the mornings taking in the wonderful views. The guest suite was better than we had hoped for. We will be coming back to stay and visit with Anna.
