We loved our stay here. The air bnb is quaint and offers privacy, all the basic amenities, and superb location. There are a few quirks that are perfectly suitable for a short stay and are well made up for by the view, lake, and other features. There is a cabinet that stays open, the kitchen is clean but outdated (not something that bothered us at all, but may be important to others), and the bathrooms could use some updating/deep cleaning. As a warning to others, the back door will lock one out if you close it in the locked position. This is not something we were aware of and were lucky we could get back in through a window. The host was extremely responsive and helpful during our little mishap! Overall, I would be very happy to return to this airbnb and stay even longer. What a beautiful place.
The sunsets on the beach in the backyard of the property are magnificent… it was the perfect way to end the evening!!
The home was well stocked and mostly clean - could use a deep cleaning. The kitchen and bathrooms are dated and need some attention. The view from the home to the lake is obstructed and there is no water access due to seawall - I don't think that was clear in the listing. The view from the deck at the lake was amazing though and we enjoyed every bit of it during our stay. Overall, the property was great for our annual girl's weekend.
