This is the third time we have stayed at one of Jeremy's properties and our second time at the parsonage house. It's perfect for us as it sleeps a lot of people and has the amenities we need to just relax as a family. We played games, cooked meals together, watched movies and slept in...the blackout curtains are great! We have an elderly relative who lives in a nearby town so it is convenient to stay here and visit her; which we did for the holidays! The tiny town of Glen Haven is so peaceful and quiet; we love that! Even though it was cold, the kids still enjoyed the playground at the nearby park and we enjoyed taking a hike on a nearby road/trail that runs along the river. We will be back again! Great value!

It is an old property but pretty clean and well maintained. Price was reasonable. The rooms and floors of the house are actually better than how they looked on the Airbnb site. The house is very close to the river, so we just walked to spend some time at the riverbank and take some beautiful pictures early in the morning. The owner (Jeremy) was pretty responsive to our messages on the Airbnb app. So, that helped us greatly through the check-in and check-out process. Overall, We had an amazing time at this property.

The house had a ton of character with old school charm. It was spacious but did seem to lack adequate seating for our group of ten. We could not all sit together in the living room or formal dining room. For a house that sleeps a larger number of people, I would expect the house to also accommodate seating for everyone. The sleeping arrangements were good. There is little air flow in the house so some rooms were very warm with the doors closed. There is also a train close by that ran several times. Not an annoyance to us, but worth noting since it is fairly loud even inside the house. Finally, the window sills had both dead and live bugs in them, and the door going to the back porch had chewed up yard debris from an animal between the screen door and main door. Our favorite part by far was the cabinet doors that opened between the dining room and toilet/washroom. Whoever was using the restroom could talk to the people having dinner 😂. All in all, decent house.

I really appreciated the location--between a state park and Cassville, two of my destinations. I'm not sure either restaurant in town was open so I was very happy to see some coffee in the cupboard!
