This place is incredible!! It was the perfect setting for a weekend with my five adult daughters and me to gather and rest and just have a few days to spend time together. Everything in the home was extremely comfortable, and the setting was perfect. We loved hanging out in the screened-in porch with the incredible view, and we were just as comfy and happy hanging out in the kitchen, dining, and living room areas. The beds were cozy, and the bathrooms were clean. We liked the fact that it was a nice little quaint town without a lot to do, but we did have a great meal at Bill’s Landing, and we did venture out to Pikes Peak State Park a couple of times, which was nice. It was absolutely perfect, and we would all love to go back!

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed here, and we love it just as much as the first two times. The house and scenery are even more beautiful than they look in the pictures. The house is in a quiet little town that is within driving distance to places for day trips. We both enjoyed starting our days by sitting in the three seasons room enjoying the view of the river and watching for barges and trains. We even got the chance to watch some eagles fly around the house for several days this year. We look forward to returning again next year.

Second stay and we will return again. Always accommodating, perfectly clean, and so comfortable. The morning coffee on the porch and sunroom are perfection.

Great place. The house was clean with a lot of nice little touches. It was well stocked and had everything our group needed. Beautiful location with a great all season room. Walking distance to the local restaurant. Very comfortable beds. Host had excellent communication. Very nice place and highly recommended!

Comfortable, quiet, and clean. We loved the relaxing weekend that we spent in Clayton. Lots of room in the house, lovely views of the river, and the area is wonderfully quiet. We saw eagles, ate leisurely breakfasts of pancakes, eggs, and coffee (provided by Lesa), had a delicious meal at The Clayton Lighthouse restaurant, and enjoyed the trains that went past . Highly recommend Joe's Pizza in Guttenburg for the pizza and the ice cream, and you should also step across the street to Harmony Park for music fun and more views of the river. Lesa is a responsive host with clear communication, and the house has everything you could need. Highly recommend.
