My husband and I welcome you to our home. We hope it will be an experience that you will remember for it’s peaceful rural setting that we have enjoyed for 29 years. We will not intrude in your stay but we do live upstairs in the house so if you are looking for a completely “sterile hotel-like” experience this may not be your cup of tea. This space is huge (1100 sq.ft) and has four rooms off the common area and a huge back yard that would provide for complete privacy but in the common area you may hear us or our dog walking around upstairs...because we live here. You do have a completely separate secure space with lockable doors. Our interest in getting involved in Airbnb was to share our home, not to give it up. We have met the most appreciative and interesting people through this experience and we hope to continue to do so for several years. My husband and I also like to spend our time boating and motorcycling and visiting our two grown daughters when we are not working. . The natural beauty of the area will draw you outdoors from sun up to well into the night. The gorgeous sunrises over the Mississippi and sunsets will not disappoint. If you are a hiker, biker, boater bird watcher, or fisherman or just want to listen to the coyotes at night and morning doves over your first cup of coffee you will not be disappointed. Experience the tranquility of northeast Iowa and the rural flavor of its lifestyle.
