We visited the Lakehouse for a post Law School Graduation for my oldest son. We had never been to the area before so it was important to find a perfect place and we did. The Lakehouse was a little slice of heaven. It had BEAUTIFUL views and literally every single thing we needed for the week. They didn’t miss a single detail. We didn’t need/want to leave the house at all aside for some weather issues (the weather wasn’t on our side). The pontoon boat was a great addition and we so enjoyed our time together. Can’t wait to go back when it’s a bit warmer and hopefully sunny! Joshua was the absolute best host in every way. He answered all of my questions (I had a lot) before our trip, during our trip, and even communicated thoroughly after we left. There was a tornado while we were there and he checked in on us numerous times. I feel like he went above and beyond and made us feel like he genuinely cared about us not only as paying guests but as friends.

This place is an absolute gem! Felt right at home, very clean, beautiful view, friendly and responsive host, extremely peaceful, and has everything & more that you would need for your stay. GREAT price, and great for the ENTIRE family! I most certainly will be coming back and recommend this to anybody looking to get away with their family. Had a wonderful time fishing, caught quite a few too! The deck is huge and offers excellent views. Grill was great, the fire pit is right by the water, didn’t have enough time to kayak or I would have. This is a perfect cabin experience. Plenty of spices for cooking available as well as every utensil you could need. Very nice hosts, who are more than willing to accommodate for their guests. Great hosts, felt super safe at their property, and a beautiful home. So happy about this experience! :-)

Visited Feb 10-15, 2024. From our 1st communication with Joshua until check-out, he and the beautiful cabin were more than we anticipated. We were driving from Texas to visit kids & granbabies in Coldwater MI (a few short miles from the cabin). The availability of the cabin was one day off of when we planned to arrive. Because the cabin was in my husband's home town, we had our heart set on staying at this beautiful cabin. Joshua was so accommodating and was able to allow us to check in one day early. The home was immaculate, spacious & cozy. The basement with the large TV, extra bedroom, comfy couch & recliner as well as games for the kids was an added extra as we had our kids & grandbabies over for a Super Bowl party🥳! And the SCENERY, oh my, those views.The couple of times we had to reach out to him during our stay he was so responsive & helpful. We certainly plan to be back. Thank you so much Joshua for having this wonderful hideaway & putting so much love into all the details!
