Overall, I had a positive stay. There are pros and cons to this house. Pros: 1. The host is amazing. She is super responsive and she truly wants every guest to have a great experience. That should not be understated. I was very impressed by the level of effort the host put into making sure I was comfortable. 2. The house has amazing art and the pictures are quite accurate in that regard. 3. The house is quite large which is often hard to find on AirBnB. I really liked having the additional space. Cons: 1. There is very limited storage space for clothes and food items. This is particularly acute if you plan to stay longer than a few days. For shorter stays, it would not be a huge problem. 2. The location worked well for me but it isn’t necessarily ideal for a business traveller who is working in Center City. It’s not a long commute but there are also tons of AirBnB options in Center City. The location is certainly not the same as Center City if that’s important to you. 3. It’s relatively expensive. 4. The host lives in the top floor of the house and uses the kitchen. Let me be clear that I rarely saw the host and did it think of it as a problem. It was a surprise mostly because the listing indicated I would have the whole house so it wasn’t clear on that portion of the interaction. I really liked having the contact with the host and her husband. It was quite positive but it just wasn’t clear to me from the listing.

This is hands down on of the best airbnb experiences. Our host went above and beyond the call of duty. There are not enough words to express how great she made this trip. I strongly recommend this location

I was in Philadelphia for a business meeting. I stayed here with 3 other colleagues. Our host welcomed us to her home warmly and gave us a tour of the whole house. She even left cookies and drinks for us in the kitchen which was a nice touch. The whole house was great and she clearly spent a lot of time making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend to anyone else.

Enjoyed my stay here, would definitely recommend the house for others to stay during their time in Philadelphia. Very clean, well kept home. Fairly close to the city for exploring. Ms Child's stayed on the top floor but completely out of our way during the duration of the stay. I also loved the basement set up for lounging with fellow guests.
