The apartment was perfect for a short stay in the lakes - beautiful inside, great location and the host was really helpful.
Michaela's place was absolutely spotless and situated in a quiet area just off the main Windermere to Bowness road. Shops, cafes and takeaways are a short stroll away, whilst parking was secure and out of the way.
Great spot for everyone if you’re looking to just explore the local town or go on hikes. Would very much recommend to friends and family 👍🏼

There is a great stagecoach bus service you can use to explore the area with only short trips to Ambleside, Grasmere.
Our nearest train station is in Windermere which is only a mile away from the property

I am a locally born girl who lived in Ambleside for 23 years and then moved to Windermere to move in with my now husband Oliver, we have now lived in the Windermere and Bowness area and have done for 14 years. We have 3 beautiful children who are 8, 6 and 4. We love living in this area and it is a great place for our children to grow up. We love to get out walking on the hills with our children and boxer puppy Sky.
