I had a wonderful time! I love the theme of the house. From the bathroom towels’ color to the frame on the wall. It is so thoughtful . Most importantly is the energy there. I felt immediately at home. The hosts were amazing! I can’t wait to go back next year!!

The Salty Dog guest suite was perfect for our stay in Rockland. We went out every single day but purposefully started the day a little later than usual to enjoy the amazing view of the ocean and fall foliage! The space is quiet and very comfortable for two people. We felt like we had our own private space even though it is attached to the main house. Karlo and Paula were amazing hosts and were super accommodating (we pulled up in an EV and they did everything they could to ensure we had a place to charge). We really enjoyed chatting with them and would definitely stay with them and their sweet dog again!

This place was wonderful! The best location for Rockland and the surrounding areas while still feeling like you were a little bit in the country (even though you are 6 minutes from town). Working remotely here was a breeze. This was a solo female trip for me and I felt extremely safe staying here. I felt like I could ask the hosts about anything and they’d give me really solid advice. Paula was so quick to respond to all of my messages and Karlo was equally friendly (and even helped me with my overly large suitcase). Everything was comfortable and clean with plenty of storage space for luggage. Two things to note - there is actually now a proper table and chairs in the kitchen and a leather recliner instead of a rocking chair which made the place even MORE comfortable. My only regret besides having to leave is that I didn’t try to drive away with their dog.

This place is truly worth it for the view alone. On top of that, the space is cozy and well equipped! A perfect, quiet getaway that is still within 10-15 minutes of Rockland and Camden. Paula and Karlo were very responsive and kind! Highly recommend!

Wonderful place with awesome views. The place is nice and cozy and was perfect for our needs. The handout Paula provided was ideal providing great information for restaurants, points of interest and so much more. Although we felt like we were out in our own little oasis, we were actually very close to town. Definitely would come back.
