We enjoyed our stay at Steve’s cottage in the countryside. After biking from Murphys, we were exhausted and very happy to rest in the comfortable cottage. The bed was great and we had 2 to choose from. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer. We highly recommend the creekside cork and brew, nice family and excellent food. The dead end road at the cottage was quiet and allowed a short walk around the vineyards. It was a very pleasant stay all in all.

This is a great place to stay in Fairplay. Very centrally located to wineries. Great host and very clean.

We had a great time at Steve's place! Beautiful area!!! The place was easy to find even at night with Steve's directions. Everything was clean, and we had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. The heater kept the cabin warm and cozy. Shampoo and soap was provided. Linens were clean and comfortable. There was a massage chair in the bedroom! It's a 2-bedroom, but we only slept in 1 bed. We brought our mattress topper because we heard the bed was a little firm, and we prefer it soft. We slept great!! Everything you need for cooking are available, including basic spices and seasonings. Steve provided water bottles in the fridge and a pitcher of chilled water. We drink a lot of water, so we purchased a couple of big bottles at the local store. Coffee was provided too, but if you like cream, make sure to bring some. Steve's a great guy, he even popped by to say hi and check to make sure we settled in okay. If you're deciding where to stay, pick this place! We'd love to come back!
