The location and apartment were great for our extended stay. Teale and her family (especially her dog) were so warm and friendly. Note there is footstep noise as the lower apartment is below their family home, but we were aware of that from prior reviews. We would love to stay again, thank you Teale!

We made it here for the 2nd time! Again, unbelievable 30 days. Teale, Figs and the family have been amazing again. Thanks for sharing your house with us. The apartment is perfect for a small family or couple and gives all the best options to relax, calm down and live as a Kailua native. Perferctly equipped with all you need for a great stay. We really enjoyed our time with our small family of 4. Thank you so much, Mahalo.

We had a wonderful stay! Teale, and the suite are very deserving of the other great reviews and comments shared by others. The place was perfect. In the morning you can hear and see a variety of lovely birds coming to visit the yard. On clear nights you can easily see the stars from the backyard. With the fans and screen doors it was easy to keep a comfortable temperature, though we did like to run the AC for a bit in the evening before bed. I did have to work during some of our visit. The wifi was reliable, and I had no problems with videoconferencing (though the signal got a little weak if you went into the yard). The only trouble was looking outside and wishing to be on the beach instead. As for beaches, it's walking distance to 2 of the best beaches on the island. Its 10 or 15 minutes walk, but worth it every time. Teale and her family were very respectful of our space, and offered great suggestions on local hikes and activities. We would jump at the chance to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Teale's place, we stayed for a month and would have loved to stay longer! The studio is located on the ground floor of the house and has it own dedicated entrance. We loved how spacious and open the space is, with a lot of natural light and beautiful view of the backyard with the ocean in the distance. Our stay was very comfortable. The bed, couch, shower are all great. The kitchen is well equipped. The fans are enough to keep the temperature comfortable day and night. In the morning and evening we could hear the small kids upstairs, but nothing unexpected for a ground floor studio/apartment, and it otherwise felt very private. Being walking distance to Kailua beach and Lanikai beach was just marvelous. Finally, communication with Teale was great, and the whole family is very friendly! Five stars!
