We were on the bay side of the island, but right across the street there is no house. So we often walked over there if we wanted to be on the Gulf side. Even if someone builds there, the public beach is a VERY short walk down the street. The pool was great, and it's a saltwater pool, which we much prefer over chlorine. It was great to sit out on the back deck, listen to the birds and the waves, and just chill. There were oyster cages in the water near us, and that was interesting to learn about and see. Every bedroom has a bathroom of its own, with one of them being shared with the living room area; all others are entered through the bedroom. That was great for privacy and comfort when traveling with our group. Their living room furniture was so comfortable! We also made use of the picnic tables and the grill on the back patio. We wouldn't change a thing about the place, and we would definitely choose to stay there again.

We’ve stayed at other beach B&Bs and they weren’t nearly this clean (there was sand on the floor from the start), which was very nice. The floors were clean and that was a relief. I would have an extra broom or swiffer to do spot cleaning tho. The internet went down on Sat, but I think that was related to the weather. Overall it was a good trip. We would visit and stay there again.

Everything was perfect. The weather was freezing which was out of our control so we didn’t get to use the amazing pool (due to wind, the heated pool was still warm) but we stayed in the cozy living room playing board games. Bed was so comfy! We can’t wait to come back this summer and stay here

The house was very nice. The pool was a huge hit. Our only complaint is we had to buy foil, dishwashing liquid and trash bags. I will be reimbursed by Vacasa. There was only 1 roll of paper towels and no napkins. If we stay here again we will be better prepared.
