We had the best time at High Nest! It was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. The house and location are amazing. A short walk to a beautiful beach. The house was spotless and even more beautiful than the pictures.  Shannon was an incredible host. She had endless recommendations and was always very responsive to any questions we had. She always made us feel at home.  We had the privilege of getting to know Shannon and her husband, Michael, and they are absolutely wonderful people who we hope to cross paths with again in the future. I highly recommend staying at High Nest if you have the opportunity to do so. You won’t regret it!  We can’t wait to come back! :)

This is one of my favorite stays on Airbnb! I came for my baby-moon to relax before I gave birth, it was so peaceful for me! I twisted my ankle badly on a waterfall hike here and Shannon was so helpful with movies, and restaurants my friend could go and get us food! She is a phenomenal person so I am glad that I booked with her! The walk to the beach is short, the views are great. There is two markets within walking distance as well as a tourist attraction store and souvenir shop! About 25 minutes from the airport. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely loved this perfect place. It’s the most time I’ve ever spent in an airbnb. I didn’t leave at all for a good 36 hours, I just loved the patio and plunge pool and the view. The place was immaculately clean. Extremely well stocked kitchen. 100% recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the High Nest! The place is spacious, recently renovated, with high ceilings, large bedrooms/walking in closets, and great bathrooms; also, very nicely furnished and decorated. The best part is the terrace (first level) and balcony (second level) with the beautiful views of the ocean. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast every morning on the terrace. We met our hosts and enjoyed talking with them; the communication with Shannon was wonderful. We felt at home; this is a place we would like to return if we visit Costa Rica again. Thank you for sharing your home with us, for your hospitality, for everything!

We had a wonderful month-long stay at this Airbnb! During our stay, we had the perfect balance of both vacationing and working remotely, thanks to the comfortable setup and reliable Wi-Fi provided by the hosts. The location was fantastic, with easy access to beaches, stores, and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made communication simple. The house was very clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the diverse bird sightings and the daily chorus of howler monkeys. I highly recommend staying at Shannon's Airbnb for a relaxing vacation.
