Sehr schlechte Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber welche nicht vor Ort ist. So etwas habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Als wir angekommen sind wusste nicht einmal jemand, dass wir für 3 Nächte gebucht haben. Dusche gibt es keine im Bungalow nur einen Wasserhan, das Bett ist sehr hart es macht keinen Unterschied ob man im Bett oder auf dem Boden schläft. Das Essen war sehr gut welches Wanpen gekocht hat, sie ist sehr freundlich. Jedoch ist das Restaurant aus familiären Gründen für die nächsten paar Tage geschlossen und Transportmöglichkeiten gibt es hier auch keine leider. Wir fühlen uns gezwungen nach einer Nacht zu gehen. Roller kann man keinen vor Ort buchen bei der Unterkunft. Die Höhle die gleich um die Ecke ist, ist bestimmt einen Besuch wert jedoch bezahlt man als Tourist 300 Bath Eintrit als Einheimischer hingegen nur 60 Bath das war für uns ein Grund war nicht die Höhle zubesichtigen. Der Taxi Transfer vom Bungalow ist auch unglaublich Teuer 500bath zum Wasserfall und zurück.

Shanti Farm is the sweetest place in the country with close proximity to Erawan Falls (very busy) and Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall (much more secluded). Wanpen and Mr Hey, whom everyone knows, are incredibly gracious hosts who will pick you up from the nearby Erawan market and arrange to get you wherever you want to go. Wanpen is the most amazing cook ever and much of what they serve is grown on their land. There’s also an incredible cave a short walk from the farm. The bungalows are modest though comfortable. The only downside was the host, Kim, who does not live on or nearby to the site, was terrible at communicating. She sent one initial message with good info, though never replied to any of our messages or questions that followed. We were stuck at the Erawan market for a while, however, super kind and supportive Thai people connected with Mr Hey and we eventually arrived.

Shanti’s place is perfect if you want to be as close as possible to Erawan National Park. Wam pen is pure magic as a host and a cook. Be sure to walk down to the cave and enjoy walking up all the stairs, it is definitely worth it!

Leuke plek voor als je van primitief houdt! Verwacht geen warme douche. Je zult vriendelijk behandeld worden door de gastvrouw. Ze kan goed koken. En dat doet ze met liefde voor een redelijke prijs.
