This was a unique experience! Family run farm stay on a rural mountain top. Close to all the main attractions in the area. The host was very friendly and accommodating and spoke english well. Worth saying again this is a very rural farm stay!! If you must have all the amenities of a traditional hotel, this is not the place for you! But, if you are looking for something authentic and off the beaten path, you will have an unforgettable experience. Also!! If you have time, offer to help with the farm chores.

Apres 2 jours et demi à Bangkok, l'arrivée à Shanti Farm a été un bonheur de sérénité. Mme Wanpen et Mr Hey qui gerent la ferme et les bungalows sont très accueillants! L'hébergement est pour les personnes qui veulent se reconnecter à une vie simple, loin de l'agitation urbaine et avec le minimum (un toit, de la lumière, de l'eau pour faire sa toilette) Pour les gourmands qui aiment néanmoins apprendre à cuisiner, il est tout à fait possible de passer en cuisine pour participer à l'élaboration de sa propre assiette ou de celles des autres aussi si un plat est commandé en commun... Bien qu'un peu réticent car c'était la première fois, j'ai suivi les recommandations et finalement loué un scooter depuis Kanchanaburi. La route est très facile, et ça permet un véritable autonomie sur place... Un havre de paix que jz recommande vivement!

We understand that this is an organic farm so we were ready for less comfortable accomodation. Accomodation itself was ok, however the communication was a bit of a problem. Upon arrival, it was complicated to explain to Wanpen, that we already paid through Airbnb and how much and when we paid etc. The price of accomodstion and food was rather high for a stay on a farm.
