Emily was very helpful, welcoming and responsive. Her dog was very friendly and well behaved/controlled. I'd suggest that if you aren't used to dogs/hair/smells then you may wish to book somewhere else. The place had been cleaned spotlessly and was uncluttered. The mattress is very soft. Emily had thought of all the extra touches - nice toiletries, fluffy towels, hairdryer, ironing board etc. and couldn't do enough to help and offered full use of all the house facilities during my stay. I had a lovely walk in the nearby fields.

Emily and Kathrine are the perfect hosts. Very clean bedroom with excellent en suite. Very good value for money and a great location to visit Durham and Sunderland. Will definitely return when visiting the area. Gary 👍

Thanks to Em & Kat for their generous welcome and for preparing such an excellent place to stay. It was pristine and well-provisioned, I slept well and felt free to do everything I needed. I arrived a little tired and anxious about what I was doing the next day, but everything about the stay was pleasant, relaxed and straightforward, so I left feeling fine and the day went well. Thanks again!
