We had a nice stay at Laura's apartment, which was beautifully decorated with impressive art and stocked with everything we needed for our 3 night stay in Venice. We appreciated the large amount of space in the apartment and the detailed instructions to help us navigate our stay.

We ended our 10 day trip to Italy in Venice and it could not have been a better because of Laura’s beautiful home. I had high expectations based on the photos, and it exceeded every one as soon as we stepped inside. My kids mouths even dropped to the floor thinking we were staying in a palace. The home is huge, there are extra areas not mentioned within the listing such as the top floor bedroom/the old theatre, an extra bathroom, etc. Rebecca checked us in and she was very kind and did a wonderful job explaining the history of the house. Every room is like a museum, just gorgeous. There is no noise from other homes, we slept so sound. The grocery store is a 2 minutes walk, several great (non touristy) restaurants, etc. We felt extremely safe in the area and met a couple other tenants of the building who were very friendly. Highly recommend enjoying Venice from Laura’s home!

This apartment is incredibly unique and full of character that matches the spirit of Venice. Before arrival we received an incredible amount of information including restaurant recommendations and even a glossary of Italian words that would prove useful. We were also delayed due to flight issues and our check in contact was very understanding and helpful.

We were amazed by Laura's apartment and had a great stay there. The place is grand - like a palace or museum. The photos and description in the listing don't do it justice. E.g., there are actually 4 bathrooms in the apartment, not 3, and the place is very spacious with high ceilings and huge beautiful windows. There is even a mini theater stage upstairs converted to a cosy bedroom with its own bathroom. The apartment is tastefully decorated, including antique furniture and decor items as well as Laura's own beautiful paintings. Everything is thought through for a comfortable stay - a fully equipped kitchen, shampoo and shower gel. The beds are very comfortable. The building is on a cute, quiet cul de sac on a small canal. Located somewhat outside of the busiest tourist area, the apartment is within a walking distance to everywhere, including the Santa Lucia train station, Rialto bridge and St. Mark's Square. The host was very responsive and nice to deal with. Thumbs up!
