We had a great stay at Kate’s cottage! It was absolutely spotless and so cozy for a weekend getaway. She had a pack and play and high chair available for our toddler which was very convenient. We loved the location - peaceful with beautiful surroundings and a nice walk to Third Beach and Sweetberry Farm while also being incredibly close to downtown Newport. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Newport!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kate’s cottage and it proved to be a wonderful location to explore the Newport area. As has been mentioned in many prior reviews, Kate’s place was very clean, cozy and well appointed. We really loved the setting for the cottage - lovely yard, nice deck, private, relaxing/peaceful vibe. It is a short drive to the main sights in Newport (mansions, Cliff walk etc.) and the beaches in Middletown. There are a couple of wineries close by as well ! I would highly recommend Kate’s cottage for your visit to the Newport area.

Kathy's apartment was the perfect size for 3 people. The location was nice and quiet at night and an easy drive to Newport, apple orchards, etc. My friends and I were in town for the Pell Bridge run, so it wasn't essential to be closer to downtown Newport. The beds were a bit too firm for our tastes, but the quietness of the location made up for that. We had a great stay.

It was a really nice stay at Kate’s guest house. It’s well built, has everything you need, and in a nice and peaceful location where you can see the bay from kitchen and living room. Kate’s a wonderful host - she provides useful instructions and suggestions ahead of time, the descriptions of the house is very accurate. And again, the place itself is nicely built, you can tell it’s thought through and with personal touches on it.
