The Conway House had everything we could ask for in an Airbnb. The home was spotless and just as beautiful as pictured. There were little details that added to the convenience of the stay such as detailed local recommendations, board games, and a well stocked kitchen with dishes and appliances as well as a few pantry essentials. It’s also centrally located between Great Barrington and Stockbridge which was perfect for checking out both towns. I would definitely consider staying here again.
Felt like a dream...except firepit AND fireplace didn't work and when we requested help from the weekend contact re: fireplace, we didn't get a very motivated response which then prevented us from reaching out when we discovered that the firepit didnt work either. Otherwise, house is gorgeous! location is perfect, the view was lovely (including binoculars for a bald eagle fishing on the river)--the furniture super comfortable, tons of space, thoughtful touches (ie shampoo provided!), seems brand new; tidy. We loved so much & it felt very special! Downside: This rental is split responsibility btwn a property management co, a rental agency, and airbnb, so weekend communication was clunky, limited...and dismissive. it was aggravating that both cozy fire features were out of order for a long autumnal weekend and no one told us in advance or reduced the $. We would definitely return & recommend widely if we can get a partial refund for unusable amenities; 2xcheck these work first!
Amazing chalet, great views of the river. extremely clean and well kept.
Beautiful comfortable home with good beds, linens, towels and full kitchen with everything we needed. The house was in beautiful shape- everything was clean and inviting. BRP was responsive before and during our stay. We appreciated that an additional tank for grill was provided since we grilled most nights. Beautiful view of the river. House was convenient to all area attractions.
everything was perfect, including the rain ! we were thrilled to have our thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful home

Hello! I am Claudia Laslie, owner and creator of Berkshire Rental Properties, specializing in both long and short term vacation rentals, throughout the Southern Berkshires, since 2005. My role is to act as liaison between renter and homeowner and to assist the owner in preparing their rental so that renters have a wonderful experience and want to return to the Berkshires again and again. I moved to Great Barrington in 2003 along with my two children who were quite young at the time. Looking to supplement my income, I would clean my house top to bottom, pack my kids into their car seats, and rent out my house for weekends. In talking about it with friends, one thing lead to another and before long I was helping others to do the same! My company has come a long way from those early vacation rental pioneering days... thank goodness. BRP provides seasoned guidance to both homeowners as they prepare their homes as well as to potential renters to help them find the best property that fits their needs. I also assist with long term rentals, both furnished and unfurnished. I am a licensed MA real estate broker represented by Lance Vermeulen Real Estate Inc.
