We (family of 4) came to Damascus to visit friends for Thanksgiving and explore the Virginia Creeper Trail on our e-bikes. The cottage was super nice, clean and cozy, with everything we needed to feel right at home and relax after a long day outside. The owner was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. This is hands down one of the best places to stay in Damascus and I cant wait to come back in the summer.
Convenient location, no beautiful mountain views or creeks or anything, but still nice. Inside was clean and nice. Bathroom would definitely be my biggest complaint. The shower is in the middle of the room and EVERYTHING gets soaked - and never dries. So when you get up in the night to use the bathroom expect to get wet feet!! I think installing a rod around the shower area would do wonders. Close to trails and walkable to town.
It was a beautiful clean house but I feel too pricey for the location
