There you will find delicious dining options, unique shops, galleries, a brewery and a theater. Chester is also home to a wonderful Sunday farmers market -mid June to mid October. Area attractions include Gillette Castle, Essex Steam Train, Florence Griswold Museum, CT River Museum and wonderful hiking. This lovely two story cottage has a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen on the first floor. The second level has skylights, an open beamed ceiling and large picture windows. It contains a living area, dining area, dedicated workspace, and a full size daybed - which is a great spot to relax for an afternoon read or can accommodate an extra guest or two. The cottage has distant views of the Connecticut River, private outdoor space with 2 Adirondack chairs, a side table and a gas BBQ grill. Other than service dogs only non shedding dogs under 25lbs are automatically accepted.
