This was not what we expected at all from the pictures or other reviews. it was a non smoking property but when the first of us arrived it smelled strongly of smoke upstairs to the extent asthmatic daughter could not stay so ruined our plan to spend weekend with her. Jim did refund us £100 as I suggested would be acceptable to us for all the problems encountered and offered us a move this first night but as only there for two and had my 82-yr-old dad settled, it was not practical to move. attention is needed to: Mould patches on bathroom ceiling Broken dining chair Combi boiler means very limited hot water for six people, we could not all shower at same time Coke cans and fag ends in garden, picked some up so safe for dog to wee but still many left! Lack of sharp knives in kitchen Multiple dead flies around sink and generally in bathroom Hundreds bottles overflowing recycling boxes on drive Double Bed with broken springs. Very uncomfortable.

A good stay while working away.

This was a great house in a great location. We had people working in the area staying here, and it was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The Host was also very helpful, and I would definitely book this accommodation again.
