We loved our stay in Porlock. Bridie was easy to communicate with and helpful with information. The cottage is delightful and has everything you need. It is in an excellent location in the centre of the village but off the main road so very quiet and peaceful. Porlock has good pubs & restaurants & a variety of shops. We were there to walk the SW coastpath which is easily accessible from the cottage. There is also a good bus service which meant we didn’t have to use our car whilst there.
Absolutely perfect, everything and more you could wish for. We would book again without hesitation.
Just spent a fantastic week at yellow gate cottage. The cottage is exactly as described, very comfy and welcoming. Parking was a plus and easy to transfer luggage too and from the cottage. Porlock is a lovely friendly village. We had fantastic weather to top it all off. Thankyou Bridie. 😊
A lovely cottage in a great location! Very clean and modern with everything you could need. The parking space for our car was within easy walking distance, and the village is very pretty with friendly residents. We would definitely recommend the cottage and stay again.

I have a beautiful little cottage in Porlock, Somerset which I renovated with my dad in 2021, and I'm now welcoming guests all year around!
